This position offers a rewarding opportunity for an experienced Anesthesiologist to join a respected hospital team in New York City. The role provides a balanced schedule, diverse case mix, and a supportive, collaborative environment with strong earning potential.
Key responsibilities
Perform anesthesia care across multiple specialties including general surgery, orthopedics, ophthalmology, ENT, and urology
Conduct preoperative assessments and develop anesthesia plans
Supervise and collaborate with CRNAs as part of a team-based model
Oversee post-anesthesia recovery and patient evaluations
Maintain accurate documentation within Meditech EHR
Schedule
Day shifts beginning at 7:00 a.m.
Shared call rotation (approximately 5 calls per month)
Post-call days off
Compensation and benefits
Base salary of $675,000 with potential to earn up to $800,000 through additional shifts
$25,000 sign-on bonus (2-year commitment)
Up to $10,000 relocation assistance

Qualifications
MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
Active or eligible physician license
ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications required
DEA license required
Minimum 1 year of anesthesia experience
Skilled in blocks, intubation, and lumbar puncture procedures
