Lincoln Healthcare has partnered with a respected healthcare facility in George County, MS is seeking a Temporary Human Resources Assistant to provide critical HR support during a period of organizational transition. This individual will play a key role in maintaining HR compliance and continuity, handling sensitive employee information with discretion, and supporting the day-to-day HR operations. The role is ideal for a candidate who is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Job Details:

• Title: Temporary Human Resources Assistant
• Type of Hire: Part-time, Temporary
• Locations: George County, MS
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 4 hours/day (20 hours/week)
• Pay Rate: $25 - $27/ hour

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Maintain accurate and compliant personnel records.
• Support I-9 documentation, credentialing, and employee file audits.
• Assist with training logistics, payroll preparation, and benefits tracking.
• Support recruitment tasks such as job postings and interview coordination.
• Provide general administrative support to the HR department.
• Respond to employee inquiries and support daily HR functions.
• Ensure adherence to employment laws and internal policies

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in HR or administrative support (healthcare preferred).
• Basic understanding of employment law and HR compliance standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and document management.
• Experience with HRIS platforms is preferred.
• Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset.
