You have a lot to offer, so we offer a commitment in return to you as a professional - and as a person.** **We offer competitive wages, Paid Time Off quarterly bonus, comprehensive benefits that begins on Day ONE and paid training.** **Shift Schedule:** **1st Shift:** Monday - Friday 6:15 AM - 2:15 PM, Overtime as business needs require **1st Shift Starting Pay:** $27.20/hour **As a Robot Technician at Caterpillar, you will:** + Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with robotic systems, AGVs and AGCs including mechanical, electrical, and programming problems and work with manufacturers to resolve these issues. + Programming: Write, modify, and debug Fanuc robot programs to meet production requirements and improve efficiency. + Repairs: Work with the maintenance team to conduct repairs on Fanuc robots and AGVs as needed, including replacing parts and components. + Documentation: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and modifications. + Collaboration: Work closely with MEs and Production staff to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation. + Training: Provide basic operation/troubleshoot training to line technicians, Planners and MEs. **Physical Requirements:** + Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods. + Ability to perform repetitive operations. + Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. **Basic Requirements:** + Must include a resume to be considered. + Intermediate proficiency computer skill with experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. + Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions. + Communication: Good communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and explain technical concepts. + Detail-Oriented: Meticulous attention to detail when performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and documentation. + Must be able to function as part of a team, willing to be multi-trained and maintain a safe, clean an orderly work area. **Top Candidates will also have:** + Technical Skills: Strong technical aptitude with a focus on robotics, automation, and mechatronics. + 1 year of Fanuc robot Programming and operation. + AGV Programming and experience. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. **Additional Information:** + Resumes are required.
