Join a team that values precision, safety, and teamwork. As a Plant Equipment Technician, you’ll keep production moving—balancing hands-on machine operation with careful material handling and a commitment to quality.

Mission & Impact

Your mission is to ensure steady throughput without compromising safety or cleanliness. You’ll maintain equipment, document results, and coordinate material flow so every shift ends as strong as it began.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and operate a range of industrial machines—both straightforward and complex—to meet throughput goals while keeping your area clean throughout the shift.
  • Conduct routine cleaning and general maintenance on machines and production equipment.
  • Complete production and quality records accurately; maintain clear, legible documentation.
  • Compute weights correctly using gross, tare, and net values with appropriate tools (calculator/adding machine/industrial scale).
  • Prepare packaging materials: thoroughly clean boxes, lids, and skids; fill out box tickets accurately and legibly.
  • Operate forklifts and aerial lifts safely; keep systems supplied using a sit‑down forklift.
  • Retrieve, stage, and store materials in proper locations; uphold warehouse cleanliness standards.
  • Engage in shift meetings and training sessions; communicate effectively with teammates.
  • Care for and remain accountable for the company-provided toolbox and tools.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of forklift experience (mandatory).
  • Basic math facility and comfort with calculator, adding machine, and industrial scales.
  • Ability to move materials up to 65 pounds (push, pull, lift, and carry).
  • Strong problem-solving ability; prioritize effectively under time pressure.
  • Detail-focused multitasker with strong concentration.
  • Ability to walk, stand, stoop, and bend up to 80% of the shift, with or without accommodations.

  • Endurance to stand for long periods and repeatedly get on/off a forklift during the shift.
