Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Prospera Hotels. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel's employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.

As Director of Sales and Marketing, you will drive revenue and promote the hotel's brand by developing sales and marketing plans, managing the sales team, and building client relationships. This role requires leadership, market insight, and a results-driven mindset, with strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. You will enhance the hotel's visibility and profitability, ideal for those passionate about sales, marketing, and hospitality.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned):

As the Director of Sales and Marketing, you will be pivotal in driving revenue growth and enhancing the hotel's market presence through strategic sales and marketing initiatives.

Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing plans to maximize revenue and market share, aligning with Marriott's standards.

Lead the sales team, providing training and guidance to ensure high performance and achievement of sales targets.

Cultivate relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to expand the hotel's reach and drive business growth.

Collaborate with other departments, such as operations and front office, to ensure cohesive execution of marketing strategies and exceptional guest experiences.

Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine strategies and maintain a competitive edge.

Oversee digital marketing efforts, including social media, email campaigns, and online advertising, to enhance brand visibility and engagement.

Manage budgets and resources efficiently to ensure cost-effective marketing practices and optimal return on investment.

As the Director of Sales and Marketing at Courtyard by Marriott, you will be a vital part of a team dedicated to hospitality excellence. A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent experience will also be considered.

A minimum of five years of progressive experience in sales and marketing within the hospitality industry, with a distinct advantage for those experienced with the Marriott brand.

Strong emphasis on guest satisfaction, combined with exceptional professional demeanor and presentation skills.

A customer-centric mindset with refined professional presentation abilities.

Key strengths should include high energy levels, a proactive attitude, excellent communication skills, a proven track record of delivering outstanding customer service, and a knack for enhancing operational effectiveness.

Knowledge and Skills:

Proficiency in multitasking and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Minimum age requirement of 21 years.
A genuine passion for meeting the needs of others in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Proficient in modern CRM software and digital marketing tools.
Language Skills:

Proficient in reading and understanding complex instructions, professional correspondence, and marketing materials.
Ability to draft professional correspondence and marketing content.
Skill in effectively presenting information to large groups, potential clients, and executive management.
Mathematical Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Competency in basic financial analysis and budgeting.
