Position Title: Ultrasound Technologist

Duration: 13–Week Assignment
Hourly Pay: $50 to $55
Weekly Pay: $1,875 to $2,062.50
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Ultrasound Technologist for an exciting Travel or Local job in New York, NY.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and position patients for ultrasound examinations following established protocols.
Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, especially in OBGYN (all trimesters).
Operate, clean, and perform basic maintenance on ultrasound equipment.
Ensure patient and staff safety by adhering to appropriate procedures and precautions.
Transfer and archive images into the PACS system for physician review.
Maintain inventory and ensure the availability of necessary supplies.
Assist in training and mentoring new staff or students as needed.
Schedule examinations and coordinate patient transport as necessary.
Perform general administrative tasks such as answering phones and documenting patient data.
Qualifications:
ARDMS – Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
BLS – Basic Life Support
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
Strong OBGYN ultrasound experience across all trimesters
High School Diploma or GED and successful completion of an accredited Ultrasound/Sonography training program
Associate’s Degree in Diagnostic Medical Technology
