Job Description
The Ultrasound Technician performs a variety of specializedtechnical tasks utilizing high frequency ultrasound waves to assist with thedetection of medical conditions or abnormalities by producing images of theinside of a patient's body.
Minimum Requirements:
+ A certification from an accredited ultrasound school
+ Three years of experience as an ultrasound technicianpreferred.
+ Current CPR if applicable
+ TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
+ Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
· RVTcertification (Registered Vascular Tech)
· 3+years of experience
· Mustbe proficient in the following:
- Peripheralarterial and venous studies
- Physiologicarterial testing
- Abdominalarterial and venous imaging
- Cerebrovasculartesting
