Position Summary:

The Security Agent plays a key role in ensuring a safe and secure environment for guests, employees, and property. This hourly position operates under the direction of the Security Supervisor and Director of Security, assisting in the coordination and implementation of safety protocols and loss prevention strategies. The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, and committed to maintaining a calm and secure atmosphere.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and enforcement of safety and security procedures, policies, and standards.
  • Respond to security-related incidents, investigate concerns, and document findings thoroughly.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of department goals and initiatives to enhance overall operations.
  • Provide ongoing patrol coverage of the property to ensure a visible and effective security presence.
  • Aid in the management of key control procedures and access systems.
  • Maintain awareness of occupational safety practices and use personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.
Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in resort security or a comparable security-related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to follow instructions, prioritize tasks, and adapt to shifting schedules or priorities.
  • Problem-solving skills with a calm and professional demeanor.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Familiarity with workplace safety standards and regulations.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to walk, stand, squat, and climb stairs for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift items up to 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to work in varying conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and inclement weather.
