Location: Bedford Hills, NY 10507
Contract Duration: 26 weeks (option to extend up to 52 weeks)
Schedule:
5x8-hour day shifts (06:00 – 14:00)
Weekends and holidays required
No block scheduling
We are seeking experienced and dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide comprehensive nursing care in a correctional healthcare environment. This position involves working in a Regional Medical Unit that includes areas such as the Emergency Clinic, Infirmary, Long-Term Care, and Medication Rooms.
Candidates must be comfortable delivering care in both acute and chronic care settings , performing assessments, wound care, medication administration, and responding promptly to medical emergencies.
RequirementsActive New York State RN License
Current BLS Certification (required)
Prior experience in correctional, acute, or long-term care settings preferred
Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed
Must complete two consecutive days of facility and security orientation
