This is a 13-week temporary Registered Nurse position in a Level II Trauma Center, specializing in electrophysiology procedures. The RN will function in a scrub, monitor, or circulate role for various cardiac procedures, requiring significant experience and expertise in this area. The position involves a 4x10-day work schedule with no weekends or call requirements.
Location: Everett, Washington, United States
Responsibilities:
- Scrub, monitor, or circulate during electrophysiology procedures including Afib, Aflutter, SVT and AV node ablations, Pacemakers, Micra, biV implants, LAAO closures, Lead extractions, lead revisions, loop recorder implant/explant, and generator changes.
- Patient assessment and care before, during, and after procedures.
- Medication administration as prescribed.
- Maintaining a clean and sterile environment.
- Collaborating with the surgical team.
- Charting in EPIC.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license in Washington state.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting.
- Experience scrubbing, monitoring, or circulating in electrophysiology procedures as listed above.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
