From golf, hiking, fishing, children's museums and Noccalula Falls, there are lots of things to do and see in this beautiful city. **Job Summary** The Radiation Therapist position is responsible for delivering precise radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by a Radiation Oncologist. This involves the accurate setup and operation of radiation equipment, monitoring patient responses during treatment, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the radiation therapy process. **Schedule: PRN, as needed** **Requirements** + Bachelor's Degree graduate from an accredited Radiation Therapy program required + 0-1 years clinical experience as a Radiation Therapist preferred **Licenses and Certifications** + ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Registry in Radiation Therapy required + Licensed Radiologic Technologist as required by state + BCLS - Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire required **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities** + Proficiency in operating radiation therapy equipment. + Knowledge of patient safety and radiation protection principles. + Ability to monitor and assess patient responses to treatment. + Attention to detail in administering accurate radiation doses. + Strong organizational skills to maintain detailed records. **About Gadsden Regional Medical Center** Gadsden Regional Medical Center is your community healthcare provider, a 346-bed facility with inpatient and outpatient care.
