Project Overview

The project aims to pilot a new compensation metric with a small group of sellers. This initiative involves collaborating with the finance team to gather and package new account and closed deal information. The packaged data will be consumed and aggregated by the Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) system to reward sellers for incremental growth.

Objectives

The primary objectives of the project are:

• Implement a new compensation metric for and modify Renewals Components for ACV, AOV calculations aligning to the new metric
• Support the Renewals workstream on next phases of implementations
• Integrate CSS with Renewals Console with additional metrics data
• Ensure successful end-to-end testing and validation of the system
• Support the feedback process and prioritize renewal backlog for this workstream

Product Backlog Management

• Expertise in creating, prioritizing, and maintaining the product backlog to ensure maximum business value.
• Proficiency in translating business requirements into user stories with clear acceptance criteria.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Strong communication skills to gather, analyze, and clarify requirements from diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to manage relationships and expectations with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Agile Methodology Knowledge

• In-depth understanding of Agile principles and practices, especially Scrum.
• Ability to actively participate in sprint planning, review, and retrospective meetings.
  • User Story Definition and Acceptance Criteria
    • Skilled in defining detailed user stories and ensuring the development team understands the acceptance criteria.
    • Experience in reviewing and validating completed features against the defined criteria.

Product Documentation

• Competency in maintaining and providing clear and concise product documentation, including backlog, roadmap, sprint reviews, and UAT coordination.
• Ability to produce sprint review documentation with demos and stakeholder feedback.

Communication and Reporting

• Ability to provide regular updates to senior leadership and stakeholders on product progress, risks, and changes.
• Strong presentation and reporting skills for product milestones, releases, and post-launch evaluations.

User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

• Knowledge of coordinating and overseeing UAT processes to validate product functionality with end users.
• Experience in ensuring that UAT aligns with product requirements and user stories.

Release Activities

• Engage with release team and secure relevant approvals required for implementation process
• Consistently gather feedback through the development cycle and make sure the release activities are delivered as planned

Post-Launch Evaluation and Continuous Improvement

• Ability to analyze post-launch feedback and provide actionable recommendations for continuous product improvement.
• Strong analytical skills to assess the product's success and identify areas for future enhancement.

Technical Skills

• Certifications: Sales Cloud and Salesforce Administration, Salesforce Certified AI Specialist
• Experience in Compensation, Incentive, etc.
