Job Title: Payroll SpecialistJob Description We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team in a fully remote capacity. This role involves handling payroll processes for a large employee base using Workday software, ensuring compliance with FLSA regulations, and managing on-demand payments. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Responsibilities + Process payroll for over 500 employees utilizing Workday T&E/Payroll. + Ensure compliance with FLSA regulations and handle the processing of payroll including terminations and final hours. + Manage on-demand payments for missing hours and employee terminations. + Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing. + Utilize Excel for reporting and analysis, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions. Essential Skills + Proficiency in Workday T&E/Payroll. + Experience with FLSA payroll processing. + Capability to manage payroll for 500+ employees. + Strong initiative and problem-solving skills. + Excellent communication and customer service demeanor. + Attention to detail and professionalism. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Prefer candidates from Central or East Coast time zones. + Experience with multistate payroll processing. + Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP. Work Environment The position is fully remote, offering flexibility in work hours. Candidates will be expected to start their day as early as 6 AM PST and work until 2:00 PM PST, with a mandatory 30-minute lunch break. The role requires candidates from EST or CST time zones, ensuring effective collaboration across different time zones. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
