Description Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity and Network Engineer who combines deep technical security expertise with practical networking skills to design, implement, and manage systems that offer both strong protection and optimal performance. This role presents an exciting opportunity to help develop and lead a holistic cybersecurity program while supporting infrastructure scalability and security during company growth. Responsibilities: Cybersecurity Responsibilities: + Design, implement, and maintain security measures across networks, endpoints, and cloud environments. + Collaborate with third-party partners to monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools and threat intelligence feeds. + Manage penetration testing and vulnerability assessments with third-party providers and implement recommended fixes. + Administer firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, endpoint security solutions, and access management systems. + Draft, enforce, and maintain cybersecurity policies, procedures, and best practices. + Develop and refine corporate cybersecurity programs. + Assist with regulatory compliance initiatives (e.g., NIST, ISO, CMMC). + Conduct periodic risk assessments and security audits to enhance overall resilience. Network Engineering Responsibilities: + Oversee corporate infrastructure, including technologies such as Meraki, Fortinet, Juniper, VMware, and NAS/SAN solutions. + Manage and troubleshoot Microsoft Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and group policies in a multi-site configuration. + Maintain and support firewalls, wireless networks, VPNs, and SD-WAN connections. + Diagnose and resolve infrastructure challenges across on-premises and cloud environments using RMM tools. + Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation, asset inventories, and standard operating procedures. + Provide tier 2-3 support across departments and collaborate with cross-functional teams. + Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor. Required Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience). + 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, network security, or a related technical domain. + Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and network protocols. + Proficient with security tools such as SIEM (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel), firewalls (Fortinet, Cisco), and IDS/IPS systems. + Experience in cloud security with platforms such as AWS or Azure. + Knowledge of incident response, vulnerability scanning, and threat hunting best practices. + Familiarity with compliance frameworks, including NIST and PCI DSS. + Proven ability to communicate and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. + Expertise in Cisco Meraki SD-WAN setup and configuration. + Willing to travel up to 25%. Preferred Skills and Certifications: + Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CCNP Security, CompTIA Security+, or Azure/AWS Security Specialist. + Hands-on experience with tools such as NinjaOne or Abnormal. + Proficiency in advanced switching, VLAN creation, and routing. + Familiarity with APIs for Azure connections. + Experience creating bill of materials (BOM) for new site installations. + Knowledge of camera systems and physical security solutions.
