Seeking Theater and Voice Instructor for an employment opportunity!
MarbleJam Kids Inc., a nonprofit inclusive arts center dedicated to empowering individuals of all abilities through the arts, is seeking a passionate and experienced Musical Theater and Voice Teacher to join our team!
We are looking for a dynamic educator with a background in theater, vocal performance, and inclusive instruction. The ideal candidate will have experience working with youth and/or adults with special needs and a desire to foster creativity, confidence, and performance skills in a supportive environment. Music Therapists with Theater and Voice experience are welcome to apply!
Position Details:
Part - Time – Weekday afternoon/evening and/or Saturday availability preferred
Location : Hackensack, NJ
Pay : Competitive hourly rate based on experience
Responsibilities :
• Lead musical theater and voice sessions for individuals and small groups
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners
• Prepare participants for seasonal showcases and performances
• Collaborate with creative arts and therapeutic staff
Qualifications :
• Degree or equivalent experience in musical theater, vocal performance, or performing arts education
• Experience teaching voice and theater to children, teens, or adults
• Comfortable working in an inclusive setting
• Patience, creativity, and strong communication skills
Bonus if you have:
• Knowledge of adaptive techniques for learners with developmental differences
• Piano or basic accompaniment skills.
