Job Description

M&B Contract Specialties is looking to hire an experienced Motorized Shades and Window Blinds Installer. Motorized shades & wiring experience required. Must be experienced in window blinds and shades- taking down, installing, and troubleshooting motorized shades.


Applicant Must Have:

• Carpentry skills.
• Experienced with motorized blinds, shades, faux wood, vinyl, and aluminum blinds.
• Must be able to take accurate measurements.
• Must be able to wire, troubleshoot, and install motorized window treatments.
• Own tools.
• Current driver's license.
• Dependable transportation.
• Must be flexible with working hours.

Responsibilities:

• The Installer performs a variety of duties, including the installation of custom window blinds.
• Provides technical recommendations for the Production team to improve the operation, application, and functionality of window-covering products.
• Installation/Service Support & Measuring.
• Run the assigned jobs on behalf of the company and our clients.
• Utilize spare components or hardware from their trucks, and/or as necessary, cut down or amend the blind configuration to ensure the job is satisfactorily completed.
• Advise the Project Manager/Installation manager if the product arrives damaged, missing components, or is incomplete in terms of window coverings required for the client.
• Report incomplete work, site issues, installation quantities, and detailed circumstances that contributed to incomplete outcomes.

Requirements:

• Competitive basic hourly rate depending on experience.
• Wage Scale available on jobs.
• PTO after 3 months of probation.
