POSITION OVERVIEW

At All American Indoor Sports, a Kitchen Team member works in a fast paced, up-beat environment to deliver on our commitment to high quality hospitality. A Kitchen Team member will prepare food for guests in accordance with the highest standards, ensuring excellent meal quality and guest satisfaction.

• Sundays: 10:00am-3:00pm

All American Indoor Sports is Kansas City’s premier indoor soccer company with two facilities located in Lenexa & Overland Park, Kansas. All American was founded in April 1985 and has been offering the most competitive, fun, indoor soccer leagues for all levels, ages, and genders. AAIS offers adult leagues year-round, six days a week and youth leagues during the winter and summer. AAIS also offers KC’s premier child development program, Lil’ Kickers with year-round programs for ages 18 mos thru 9 years old, six days a week.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
• Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Communicate ticket times to Team Members.
• Keep food orders flowing continuously from the kitchen.
• Safe equipment handling.
• Menu knowledge.
• Understand and communicate dietary restrictions and food allergens.
• Promptly relay any issues, directly to the manager.
• Performs beginning and ending inventory as assigned.
• Implement safe chemical handling practices..
• Keep areas clear of dishes, glassware, and debris.
• Open and closing procedures.
• Daily cleaning duties.

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

• Friendly, warm, and caring demeanor with team members
• Prior experience preferred in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position
• Proficient in multitasking while maintaining safe food and beverage handling.
• Able to read, understand, and follow written directives.
• Presents a cooperative work attitude and cheerfully accepts job responsibilities.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum - 1year of food and beverage preparation experience preferred
• Must be at least 18 years old.

PHYSICAL ABILITIES

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Reasonable accommodations may be made.

• Long periods of standing and walking.
• Must be able to lift and move at least 30 lbs.

SHIFT

• Sundays: 10:00am-3:00pm

WEEKLY DAY RANGE

• SUNDAY ONLY
• Weekend availability

PAY RATE

• $15/hour

What is TinyTykes?

TinyTykes is a FUNdamental introduction to the game of soccer for players aged 2-6. Players learn the introductory skills of soccer through you teaching them fun games and stories in weekly classes lasting 45 mins each. Our soccer experts and child development professionals have designed an innovative curriculum for you to follow which introduces young soccer stars to the basic skills needed in soccer as well as developing their motor, social, and psychological skills.

What is the Challenger Soccer Academy?  

Challenger Soccer Academy offers professional year-round coaching to recreation and/or competitive players and teams aged 5 - 18 years old.
