We are looking for a Junior Web Designer who is passionate about creating engaging and user-friendly websites. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone early in their career to gain valuable experience and grow professionally in a collaborative environment. You will work closely with our other designers, front-end developers, and cross-functional teams to assist in the design and development of websites that meet our business objectives and exceed user expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and development of websites from concept to launch under the guidance of senior designers and other stakeholders.
  • Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design ideas effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and contribute creative solutions.
  • Support the implementation of designs by working closely with developers and adhering to design specifications.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to continuously improve design skills and knowledge.
  • Conduct research and analysis to understand user needs and preferences.
  • Assist in usability testing and gather feedback to refine designs and improve user experience.
  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize workload effectively to meet project deadlines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in web design. 
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
  • Basic understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.
  • Understanding of Figma components.
  • Portfolio showcasing design projects or coursework.
  • Experience working in the SaaS/Software industry is a plus.
  • Strong passion for web design and eagerness to learn and grow in the field.
  • Familiarity with HTML and CSS is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow design guidelines and specifications.
  • Positive attitude, willingness to take on new challenges, and ability to adapt to change.
