Position Summary

HMH is seeking a Junior Project Manager to support the planning, coordination, and execution of high-end residential construction projects. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior project managers, site supervisors, subcontractors, and clients, gaining hands-on experience in managing some of New York’s most prestigious residential renovations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior PMs in managing day-to-day project operations
  • Help coordinate schedules, deliveries, and subcontractor work
  • Track project documentation including contracts, COIs, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
  • Conduct site walkthroughs and assist with punch list generation and resolution
  • Prepare meeting agendas, notes, and follow-up items
  • Communicate with clients, architects, and designers to ensure alignment on scope and expectations
  • Support jobsite safety compliance and document control
  • Help manage project budgets and track costs in coordination with the office team

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience in residential construction or construction management
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Bluebeam, Procore, or similar platforms a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment
  • Enthusiasm for craftsmanship, design, and the culture of high-end building
