Job Description

Description We are looking for a knowledgeable and proactive IT Security Specialist to oversee and enhance network and data security within a hybrid infrastructure environment. This role involves collaborating with global teams to design, implement, and maintain secure systems while ensuring compliance with industry standards. As this is a long-term contract position, we seek someone who is committed to driving security initiatives and delivering sustainable solutions. Responsibilities: - Conduct assessments to identify vulnerabilities and risks across hybrid environments, including on-premises and cloud systems. - Develop and implement secure connectivity frameworks to integrate on-premises, cloud, and third-party systems. - Apply data protection measures such as encryption, secure transfer protocols, and access control mechanisms. - Collaborate with offshore teams to guide and review security configurations for adherence to standards. - Perform risk evaluations and assist in remediating findings from penetration tests and vulnerability scans. - Create and maintain documentation for security architectures, policies, and operational procedures. - Participate in change management processes to ensure secure deployment of applications and infrastructure. - Monitor security alerts and coordinate responses to incidents in collaboration with relevant teams. - Facilitate audits and compliance reviews by providing necessary documentation and evidence. - Engage with infrastructure and application teams to align on secure design principles. Requirements - Expertise in network security tools such as firewalls, VPNs, proxies, and intrusion detection systems. - In-depth knowledge of data protection techniques, including encryption and secure data flow management. - Familiarity with cloud security platforms such as Azure or AWS, including identity management and secure network design. - Proven experience in assessing risks and implementing mitigation strategies in hybrid infrastructures. - Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving network and security-related issues. - Excellent communication abilities to coordinate effectively with global teams. - Preferred certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert. - Understanding of regulatory frameworks like ISO 27001 and GDPR, as well as DevSecOps practices.
