Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented  Furniture Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience repairing wood furniture, performing touch-ups, and using power tools with precision. A strong understanding of color matching, finishing techniques, and restoration best practices is essential. You must be able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team, while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect furniture for damage and determine the best repair method
• Perform wood furniture repairs including structural fixes, refinishing, touch-ups, and re-gluing
• Use power tools, hand tools, and finishing materials safely and effectively
• Match stains, paints, and finishes using color theory knowledge for accurate touch-ups
• Restore furniture to like-new condition with attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Work collaboratively with delivery teams, warehouse staff, and other technicians
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Keep records of repairs, materials used, and time spent on jobs
• Follow company procedures and quality standards

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in furniture repair, woodworking, or related field
• Strong understanding of power tools, hand tools, and finishing techniques
• Knowledge of wood types, stains, and color matching
• Good eye for detail and craftsmanship
• Ability to problem-solve and work with various types of furniture damage
• Team-oriented with strong communication skills
• Physically able to lift and move furniture as needed
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to quality work
