Field Service Engineer - Lab Equipment - Base Salary to 85k/year - Glassboro, NJ
- Our client is a plastics manufacturer serving the biotech and life sciences industry. The team is seeking a Field Service Engineer (internally titled Technical Sales Representative) to add to the team who will also be in charge of coordinating, directing, and planning service efforts for the equipment. This role will be an in-office position with flexibility to work from home and travel.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain current customer base
- Promote the lab equipment division: which offers various filtration, storage, and collection units for cell cultures
- Use technical sales approach to achieve divisional metrics and end of year goals
- Maintain and track fleet equipment
- Develop and execute service and preventative maintenance plan
- Create and deliver sales quotes to customers
- Attend equipment related tradeshows
Qualifications:
- BS Degree preferred
- Background in repairing/fixing equipment in the life sciences industry, required
- Familiar with technical sales process from beginning to end
- Ability to travel domestically upwards of 30% & internationally to UK for initial training
Compensation:
- Our client is offering a base salary to 85k/year plus bonus. All travel is covered through company credit card and local travel gets milage reimbursement. There is also a comprehensive benefits package including 401k with employer match.
