Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Assistant Electrical Site Manager to assist our Site Manager on our data center project in Reno, Nevada. This role involves assisting with multiple buildings on campus and ensuring the successful completion of electrical installations and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in past electrician work and be willing to travel for a 10-day on (Mon-Following Wed), 4-day off schedule(Thurs-Sun).

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with another site manager on a rotating schedule (10 days on, 4 days off).
• Work Monday to the following Wednesday, with weekends dedicated to admin needs for the project.
• Fly home Thursday-Sunday for rest and recuperation and they will rotate another ASM in the meantime.
• Assist in the execution of all electrical aspects of the project, ensuring compliance with low voltage NV standards.
• Assist with the full life cycle of electrical installations and maintenance, tying back to the central data center operations.
• Execute clear communication of the project to Site Manager.

Must Haves:

• 2-3 years of experience in Electrician work in a construction field or project
• Ability to diagnose and fix electrical issues efficiently.
• Experience in Heavy Industrial, Oil Plant or Nuclear Power Plant industries
• Understanding of electrical systems, blueprints, and safety protocols
• Experience with low voltage NV standards.

Plusses:

• Experience with Procore and Touchplan software.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Strong understanding of the electrical data center path and its full life cycle from beginning to end.
• Experience working on a project that produces 300+ gigawatts of power or enough to power an entire city.

Compensation:

• Base Salary: $105,000 - $120,000 , based on experience.
• Bonus Program: Performance-based bonuses ranging from $7,000 to $15,000 at the end of the year, with potential for bi-annual payouts depending on job site performance.
• Transportation: No company truck provided , you will need to use your own vehicle for travel. There will be a gas allowance of 67 cents per mile .
• Business Expenses: Company credit card for travel, flights, and other business-related expenses.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
