Job Description

A fast-growing venture capital firm seeks a Controller to join their dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage staff and review all billing, vendor invoices, journal entries and expense reports produced for the management company •
• Prepare financial package with supporting schedules and notes for quarterly presentation with the CFO and managing partners
• Responsible for all cash and expense forecasting for management company and update projections for any changing variables that occur
• Oversee the books and records for all general partnership entities and reconcile to fund administrative NAV packages
• Perform allocations of hedge fund incentive allocations, clawbacks and distributions for the general partnership and their partners
• Prepare quarterly partner capital account statements, along with footnotes and supporting schedules
• Review tax workpaper packages; schedule K-1’s, quarterly estimates and other filings received from tax preparers
• Developed new reports in Intacct and Excel to increase department efficiency and eliminate redundancy

Qualifications:

• Must have management company experience.
• CPA preferred
• Big 4 preferred
