Job Title: Commercial Roofing Estimator
Location: Greater Philadelphia Area
Compensation: $70,000 – $150,000+ DOE (Base Salary + Bonus)

We are hiring for a reputable commercial roofing company seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Commercial Roofing Estimator to join their growing team. This is a tremendous opportunity for an estimator who wants to work with a well-established contractor known for safety, quality craftsmanship, and long-term relationships across Pennsylvania and surrounding states.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial roofing projects (TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen, coatings, and metal systems).
Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents to determine project requirements.
Collaborate with project managers, sales teams, and superintendents to ensure seamless project execution.
Obtain and analyze quotes from vendors and subcontractors for materials and labor.
Develop detailed take-offs and pricing breakdowns for both negotiated and competitive bids.
Participate in pre-bid meetings and client consultations as required.
Identify cost-saving alternatives and value-engineering opportunities to enhance proposal competitiveness.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of estimating experience within commercial roofing.
Strong understanding of low-slope systems, materials, and construction methods.
Proficiency with estimation software (e.g., Bluebeam, Edge, or similar).
Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, plans, and technical documents.
Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
