Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Albany, NY (Hybrid)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification

Qualification:

• Extensive experience designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based systems in alignment with industry best practices and security standards.
• Proven ability to build and manage solutions across major cloud platforms, with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and additional experience in AWS and Azure.
• Skilled in developing cloud-native applications and deploying them using GCP services such as Cloud Build and Cloud Deploy.
• Proficient in monitoring cloud environments for performance, identifying potential issues, and executing timely resolutions to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Experienced in implementing and maintaining Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) pipelines, particularly using GCP-native tools.
• Strong diagnostic skills, including log analysis and root cause troubleshooting of complex cloud infrastructure issues.

• Hands-on experience developing and maintaining cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform to automate VM provisioning and deployment workflows.
• Proficient in automation scripting with Python and PowerShell to streamline system tasks and improve operational efficiency.
• In-depth knowledge of GCP infrastructure services including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC, Shared VPC (XPN), Cloud SQL, Redis, Secret Manager, CDN, Load Balancers ( Cloud Armor, Logging, Monitoring, Alerts, and Pub/Sub.
• Strong background in Linux system administration (preferably Red Hat) and managing both Linux and Windows server environments.
• Skilled in managing Kubernetes environments via Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), including deployment and orchestration of pods and services.

• Experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines using modern DevOps tools and practices.
• Proficient in using GitHub for version control, code collaboration, and repository management.
• Knowledgeable in cloud security tools and practices, including experience with Prisma Cloud, Tenable, and performing operating system patching and upgrades for compliance and vulnerability management.
