Our client is seeking a Certified Elementary Reading Specialist in Philadelphia, PA.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
* Reading Specialist certification from the Pennsylvania Department of Education
* Several years of classroom teaching experience, especially in literacy or related subjects
* Experience specifically in reading instruction or interventions

CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
* Conduct Assessments: Administer and interpret various reading assessments to determine students' reading levels, strengths, and areas needing improvement.
* Develop Individualized Plans: Create personalized reading intervention plans based on assessment data for students with reading difficulties.
* Provide Direct Instruction: Deliver targeted reading instruction to individual students or small groups, focusing on areas such as decoding, fluency, comprehension, and vocabulary.
* Implement Interventions: Utilize evidence-based reading strategies and programs to address specific reading challenges, such as dyslexia or reading disorders.
* Monitor Progress: Track and analyze student progress and program effectiveness to make necessary adjustments and ensure continued improvement.
