Position Overview
Create energizing and memorable customer experiences through curiosity, educational, and innovative dining choices.
This role internally will be labeled as Restaurant supervisor.
Desired qualifications:
This role will accomplish the following:
First 6 Months
• Enthusiastically participate in personal development and onboarding training
• Become familiar and aligned with the vision of Hobble Creek Downtown, culinary programs, and strategies
• Help create and drive the FOH training for service, menus, and experiences
• Assist in developing Hobbled Horse Beverage and Bar Coaching programs
• Assist Downtown leadership in developing front-of-house logistics
• Assist in executing a schedule and framework of “soft launching” of the Hobbled Horse, Cy's, and Centerline Café in preparation for opening.
• Assist in the hiring and training of FOH staff
• Manage and supervise the day to day operations of the Hobbled Horse, Cy's and Centerline
• Collaborate actively in a team-oriented environment to accomplish shared goals and support cross-functional initiatives.
• Communicate proactively and professionally with team members and managers to ensure alignment, share updates, and resolve issues.
• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance personal growth, improve job-related skills, and contribute to team success.
• Perform other duties, tasks, and responsibilities, including as listed in GlassFrog, and support other teams as assigned, which may fall outside the essential duties and responsibilities.
6 Months and Beyond
• Ensure that the Mainstreet Market, Hobbled Horse, Centerline Café, and Soda Fountain accomplish the people purposes and visions intended
• Be a champion of our culture and building the future vision.
• Run all front-of-house operations including
o Role-specific training
o Point of Sale (POS) Logistics
o KPI Reporting and Tracking
o Merchandising
• Continue to measure, innovate, and improve excellent levels of internal and external customer service
• Monitor staff performance, ensuring that the operations are running well and guests are happy
• Work with Production Lead to comply with all health and safety regulations for the front and back of house
• Become one of our resident experts on front-of-house equipment, including understanding maintenance schedules
Working Conditions
• Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds.
• This role could require travel from time to time.
• The work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.
• Work may involve moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
