Job Overview

Join a vibrant team delivering southern-inspired hospitality through premium coffee, handcrafted espresso drinks, and fresh pastries. As a barista, you’ll be the face of our Fairfield shop—welcoming guests, mastering beverage crafts, and serving with a smile.

Key Responsibilities

• Craft Drinks: Prepare hot & iced beverages (espresso, brews, cold-drip, tea) following PJ’s recipes.
• Customer Service: Greet and assist customers, handle orders (in-store & mobile app pick-ups), maintain a friendly and engaging atmosphere.
• Food Prep: Plate and serve pastries, beignets, breakfast sandwiches cleanly and attractively.
• POS & Transactions: Accurately ring up orders, process payments, handle mobile app orders and loyalty rewards.
• Cleanliness & Restocking: Keep workstations, equipment, displays, and seating areas clean; restock ingredients and supplies.
• Team Support: Assist in opening/closing duties, maintaining sanitation standards, and ensuring smooth store operations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old (standard for U.S. barista roles)
• Previous experience in coffee shops or quick-service restaurants preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, able to handle a fast-paced environment and flexible scheduling

Schedule & Availability

• Shifts available: Morning to mid-afternoon, Saturdays 8 AM–5/6 PM, Sundays 8–5 PM
