About the Role:
In this position, you'll be part of a cutting-edge program designed to bring acute care directly into the homes of patients who would otherwise need to be admitted to the hospital. You'll work a balanced 7-on/7-off schedule, offering you the flexibility to thrive both professionally and personally. This role gives you the chance to provide vital care to patients in the comfort of their own homes, using advanced technology to support your efforts.
You'll work with patients who are receiving care for conditions such as heart failure, respiratory issues, diabetes complications, infections like pneumonia, and even COVID-19. These patients are monitored remotely, and you'll be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and providing the best treatment plans to help them recover.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform detailed patient assessments to understand their health needs.
Order and interpret lab tests, imaging, and other diagnostic procedures.
Diagnose health conditions and create tailored care plans.
Initiate treatment, including medications, therapies, and consultations.
Administer routine procedures like injections, immunizations, suturing, wound care, and blood draws.
Provide patient education on prescribed treatments and medications.
Maintain strong communication with your team and report to the supervising physician.
About You:

Requirements:
Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Oklahoma.
Current BLS Certification.
Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with patients from diverse backgrounds.
Previous experience in an acute care setting is preferred, but not required.
